The restaurant New Leaf is nestled comfortably in the craggy hilltop that is Fort Tryon Park. The subway ride to Inwood is worth it. You may see monks in full dress, praying on the train, walking to their church or monastery uptown. When you exit the train, you are in a beautiful park surrounded by nature. The walk is uphill, so, if you’re a shooter like me, make sure you gear is in a rolling bag. It is quite a workout. Think of it as a warm-up before showtime The park surrounding the restaurant is an Olmstead park. Furthermore, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is an NYC Scenic Landmark.

This Inwood gem is considered the last masterwork of the Olmsted Brothers Firm. It is utterly gorgeous. Leafy, breezy and beautiful. Greenery and view of the Hudson River at every turn. The restaurant offers paper catering and cake, bathrooms and shelter for your wedding. Furthermore, it’s so pretty inside that you don’t feel like you’re roughing it at all. Run, don’t walk to this park of Manhattan for your NYC wedding photography.

Elegant, sexy, and romantic,Robert NYC celebrates design, beauty and culinary delights. Furthermore, this one of the most iconic venues to have your fall wedding. With clear views of Columbus Circle and southern tip of Central Park, you are guaranteed a pretty show from the city below. They own multiple floors, offering you options to break up the party as you wish. Cocktails below, dinner above. They have three pretty fast elevators, so your guests won't have to check their watches and tap their feet. Sitting atop the Museum of Arts and Design at Columbus Circle, Robert would be considered in the classic, modern-style American category of eatery. Mind you, it is spendy. But it is really an experience.

Together ten years, Jeff and Alberto chose to have their celebration in Brooklyn. After all, they live and share a beautiful life together in the borough. And it was the best decision they could have made. "We considered doing it in Venice, but we wanted to be able to walk home after." Their Fort Greene Park ceremony is perhaps one of the most heartfelt I’ve had the pleasure of shooting. Alberto's father conducted the ceremony, serving as officiant. There was a profound emphasis not just on the love they enjoy together.

Additionally, they celebrated the love and support their friends and family have had for them over the years. From a mariachi band and crowd sing-along of “Just the Two of Us” to herb-based floral arrangements and an olive oil wedding cake, this unique celebration was started after the strode hand in hand to their ceremony on the Fort Greene Park Plinth. Then the gang walked pied-piper style to ICI restaurant just a few blocks away.
