The Joffrey Ballet School
During my two-year residency at The Joffrey Ballet School, the directors gave me free rein to photograph dancers in training, anywhere and at any time. This body of work grew out of that access, and the resulting collection resides in the organization’s permanent collection.
Photographed on a 6×9 film camera using Kodak 120 black-and-white film, the work is processed in small batches. I proof and print the negatives in the darkroom.
The ballet book was designed by Kormas Studio.
Prints are available in 8×10 and 11×14 inches, with 16×20-inch exhibition prints available.
