A Central Park Elopement at Bethesda Terrace

Bethesda Terrace is one of the most sought-after locations for a Central Park elopement because of its covered arches, iconic staircase, and Angel of the Waters fountain.

Its timeless architecture and beautiful light make Bethesda Terrace particularly well suited to intimate ceremonies throughout the year.

With just immediate family, they began their day at a chic Manhattan hotel for getting ready photos and first look. They exchanged vows beneath the iconic arches of Bethesda Terrace.

Following the ceremony, we stopped by the nearby Angel of the Waters fountain before heading downtown for a yellow cab ride, then ice cream and portraits among the gritty graffiti of the Lower East Side (her request).

For these lovebirds, it was the perfect New York elopement—simple, meaningful, and uniquely their own.
