A Thanksgiving Wedding Proposal in NYC
A Thanksgiving Wedding Proposal in NYC. So, when Yuvraj contacted me from across the country, he was planning a NYC proposal. He found me via the Amex Platinum Concierge. He was nervous. But very organized. He shared his plans with me. He was to propose on the rooftop of the NoMAD Hotel. I was tumescent with expectation. The whole thing seemed too good to have come across my desk. Yes here it was. A once-in-a-lifetime life event. The kind that makes me shine. I'm used to hiding in the bushes to shoot Central Park proposals. I've been asked why I was hiding by strangers walking dogs. I've tucked myself under curtains in hotel suites. This was decidedly a step up. I had a spot in a nook. Lanterns were set out. They twinkled like stars. We were ready. To enumerate:
- They arrived.
- He dropped a knee.
- She said yes.
He slipped the custom ring from India on her exquisite finger. Queue her big Italian family and his sister from Dubai. They made their entrance. Fiancés were enveloped in love and family. Champagne was poured. Glasses clinked. All was well. So, here's hoping you enjoy this portfolio of an NYC proposal at the NoMAD Hotel.
Also, the NoMAD Hotel set up this sweet table filled with candles. Two champagne flutes awaited them.
The cupola on the roof of the NoMAD used to be a decorative water tower when it was a federal building.
So, he had this exquisite ring made in his native India.
