Family reunions. These are the rarest of chances to have everyone in the same place at the same time. And they are worth photographing because when will it happen again?
This reunion brought multiple generations of a family together in Whistler from all over the globe. I shot a few days of them having a ball in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever shot, Whistler, CANANDA. They went swimming, exploring, eating, laughing, and generally being a giant, happy family. The photographs are about the people as they actually are. Together—not as a formal family portrait session, but the whole unruly, affectionate thing. Unvarnished, real and honest.
