Chinese Tea Ceremony Photography in Central Park

Chinese Tea Ceremony Micro-Wedding in Central Park including a Lunch at the Loeb Boathouse.

This couple eloped to NYC from Hong Kong to be married near family living in the US. The bride got ready with just her beautiful mom at the Crosby Street Hotel, then we all took a taxi together to Central Park. She made her entrance with her mother to the designated location. The family was already gathered and awaited their arrival.

The couple then set up the tea on a little table and served it to their parents. Red packets were exchanged, and some happy tears. The bride’s father tried to hold it together, but she knows her dad well. She could see how emotional he was becoming and embraced him at just the right moment as only a daughter could. The result was a wonderful, relaxed ceremony followed by a stroll through the park and a luncheon at the Loeb Boathouse.
